Sweet, Sweet Grandma 🥰💜

My sweet, sweet Grandmother found me in my dreams last night. She came and knocked on our door and said can I come in? And I brought her in and said she could stay as long as she wanted and she sat in my cozy rocker. My grandfather watched close by, standing in the corner, letting us know he loves her and is watching near by. She told me she wanted to stay for her hospice. I told her sure and again she could stay as long as she wanted.

When I woke up later, I called my momma to FaceTime as I often do in the early mornings, and it was when I looked at her kind and loving and beautifully calming face that I realized, “I think Grandma visited me last night.” She was checking up on me. She helped me see that I still have purpose. That just like she carried on with the mundane and struggled with normal things, whether physically or emotionally or mentally, she carried on. And she loves me. She told me, “I love you.”

I’m so thankful for this little piece of memory I have, that she shared with me this precious verse, and always prayed for all of us, including me. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Today, and everyday, I’m honoring you Grandma, for your persevering love and patience through life, and for bringing us all here into the world, so I can be sweet momma to our two beautiful, amazing, wonderful, loving children who I am so incredibly grateful God made me to be their momma… I can’t wait to see what the future holds! And I encourage you to remember today, you are worthy, you are valued, you are loved, you matter, you can give yourself grace knowing none of us are perfect at all, and yet all of us are dearly, eternally loved by our God, through Jesus who loves and died for us. He loves us. You are loved. I love you. Keep going dear one. You’ve got this. You are doing well. You matter. You can do it. Just do what you can. I love you. Daisy

Thank you, Jesus, for this beautiful day and please protect and care for all our loved ones this weekend and always. In Jesus name, amen. 💜 You are loved dear one. Always.
