Morning Times Are Life Giving
It’s so special noticing these things about our kids and knowing that they love us and see us just the way God sees us… unconditionally. I may not always be perfect, or on, or great, or even okay, but they still recognize me for who I am to them… their mom.
That word has meant everything to me since the time I was born. She was there. She was mom. She cared for me. She held me. She knew me. She prayed for me. She absolutely loved me. And she knew I was His. God’s child, just as we all are made so.
I am so safe in his love and care. I wish I had recognized this as a child, that I am so safe in his love and care, but I don’t think I was made to. I think I was made to love and trust my mom and know that she was God’s way of taking care of me. So that I could be safe and loved and always have someone to go to who would never turn me away.
I feel that way for my kids. They are God’s and I’m their momma. And it’s such a privilege to be called that, to know I carried them, held them, nurtured them, loved them, all for their beautiful smiles and kind eyes and joyous hearts radiating love and warmth and laughter. What more is there?!
I am so lucky to be called momma, to be made momma by Lord Jesus… he gave me this life and I am so grateful to be living it. It may not always be easy. It may not always be fun. I may feel slightly or immensely lost sometimes, but I know right where I am.
I’m safe in the Father’s love, under the light of the moon, and the heat of the sun. I am so loved. I am not alone. I am sheltered. I am safe. I am found. He never leaves me or forsakes me. He holds me by his right hand.
I am safe and I am loved. Everyone is safe and known and loved by our Great and Holy and Perfectly Loving God through Jesus who knows us, gives us strength and peace and healing power, and knows that even when we are weak, he is there to carry us through.
My favorite part of this morning reading was finding a verse that talked about singing till I reach heavens glory, that in the morning He would fill me up with his light and love and peace and joy and know that I am loved… that I would sing until the day he brings us all home, to His glorious home where all who trust in the name of Jesus are welcomed through his beautiful gift of love. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you for forgiving me. Thank you for knowing me. Thank you for loving me. I trust in who you are. Amen. Love Daisy
You can too. You are loved, child. Dearly loved and welcomed right where you are. Jesus, please help each of us know who you are and let us love you… as you first loved us. Amen.
Love Daisy.
You’re doing great. Right where you are. He sees you. He fills you. He gives you a safe place. He gives you strength. You are loved. You are held. Love from Jesus our Savior and friend. Hugs! 🤗
