Lovely Weekend

 This weekend was so special and unique, with a lovely craft/vendor fair, cinnamon rolls and fresh lemonade, and lots of snuggles from my little niece. A movie night with a sweet friend topped it all off, for good fun! :) 

Have you ever traveled downtown and experienced a full, lovely vendor fair? If the answer is yes, you know how truly beautiful and relaxing this experience can be! 

There’s a lovely square not far from here, where people travel from all over, just to enjoy the lawn and live music. Oh and some good food and laughter and sweet tea, y’all. Or at least, from the looks of it we could call it so, but it’s probably a little bit richer if you know what I mean. ;)

If you haven’t been to a fair, or traveled to a square downtown, you are in for a treat!! Go on down, get yourself a square of grass on the lawn, and rest a spell while you just soak in the ambiance of being free in this beautiful, God given country. There is no better way to spend some time than just being and enjoying the peacefulness of being together with the world.

That’s a lot. I like a lot, though! A lot comes in good packages. :) haha I don’t know if that’s true or even makes sense, but I absolutely love spending time outdoors with a good drink, quality friends or family, live music, yummy food, and vendor fair to boot. :)

My favorite item yesterday was this sweet little caterpillar friend for my adorable niece, who treated me to a smile and a snuggle when we found her. We named her Skittles as she is made out of sections of round lumps. So colorful and cuddly, handmade with love by a wonderful vendor.

Also, some fun encouraging/inspirational/faith stickers to decorate laptops with. Some beautiful handmade earrings, hand sculpted into hearts, and dyed with a beautifully inspired lavender color the vendor made herself.

All these people with their gifts, using them wisely to make a positive difference in the world!! There was a wonderful artist who brought handmade Montessori style, wooden animals. He made trucks and dinosaurs. So many choices. We got some for the littles for Christmas.

Honestly, if you have two or more little people who need a smile on their face at Christmas, look no further than your local vendor fair. You are in for a treat.
