Such a Meaningful View
It’s Sunday, which means we are resting and enjoying the view. Sweet, strong husband is disc golfing, while the kids and I enjoy some quiet time in our super comfortable family van. I love being here, having no where to go, and feeling at peace with nature and myself here.
We’ve had a lovely day. Visiting Gunda and Memaw. Church with our friends. Time together as a family. Disc golf and pizza the night before. With delicious apple cider. Can’t go wrong with that.
It’s a beautiful evening and it honestly feels like you can’t get better than this. Green grass, large bountiful trees, and a sky that begs for rain, after a good long week of blessing the earth for it.
We’ve done well for ourselves. We have nothing else we need or want, and are left only with peaceful thoughts and dreamy thoughts about things that are really just for thinking about, not for attaining. Things like deep purple cars, ice cream shakes, and more time with family… not really for dreams, but for the fun of day dreaming.
It feels so peaceful to me here. My kids, one asleep, the other enjoying some quiet time to himself. Me, reading, writing here, processing thoughts… my husband, exercising and prepping mentally for his work week ahead.
We are so blessed. We have a lot to be thankful for. And today, im just thankful that you put me here, Jesus. That im home with my family, can visit our parents near by, and can enjoy the peace and freedom of working, living, giving, and feeling so blessed by our wonderful family.
I love you, Lord. Love Daisy
