Jesus I trust in You

 Jesus, I trust in you. Wherever I may be.

Jesus, I rest in you, though resting may retreat.

Jesus, I am still your child, though older I am growing.

Jesus, friend to sinner, and only saved by grace I may be.

Forgiven, through your sacred covenant, life given for me.

Rose again, after mortal combat, dying on a tree.

Carried, by your grace and comfort, compassion covers me.

Jesus, there is still no other. Jesus, rescues and frees.

From all the pain this world offers, from every doubt and fear.

There is no name as strong and perfect, Jesus is who is near.

Jesus, everlasting father, God, you gave your life.

I trust in you and rest in mercy, knowing I should have been crucified. 

For every doubt and every fear, and every loveless fight.

You rescued me, You called my name, and now I live in light.

There are still days, where I lose my way, my anger and my lust.

For more than you have given me, or less than I am feeling.

That is why you gave your blood. To rescue me from these fears and follies, and every merciless fight. 

That I may rest in You, Lord Jesus, for You are truth and love.

May every flower, every rain, and every home rest on.

Your loving promise, You came to save, not for our honor,

But because of who you are. Grace, Love, and Truth.

We rest and honor You. Our loving Savior, King, and God.

If you need a prayer than pray to God, through Jesus Christ His Son, forgive me please, I rest in You, I trust in God who is love. Forgive me for the wrong I do, I know that I have need of you. Forgive me because of who you are, the God of mercy and love. Send me your Spirit, let me draw near. Let me honor you. By trusting, forgiving, and resting in Jesus. The light, the truth, the One. Who rescues me from all my sin, and every single doubt. That I may live with You, Lord Jesus, when Heaven opens up.
